Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds A
Disappointed

When I first tried to use the Bose QC Ultra Earbuds, I tried to connect it to the Bluetooth on my phone and they would not connect. You need to download an app to set up the earbuds to your phone which is kind of an inconvenience. The app was giving me a hard time. I'm really good with technology but it just wasn't working with me. The earbuds were failing to connect. I kept trying and trying until they finally connected. Then they kept disconnecting so I kept trying. Once it started working properly, I was able to access all the features these earbuds have.
When I first listened to music in these earbuds, I was disappointed with the sound quality especially considering these are a whopping $300! These are some of the highest priced earbuds on the market. There is a feature in the app to adjust the bass, mid, and treble. After adjusting those, I started liking the earbuds more...but I couldn't make them sound better than my existing earbuds that I have been using for a while. I really wanted to like these earbuds and I wore them for hours on multiple days to try to get used to the new sound. Even with the immersive audio feature, I still wanted to put on my old headphones. I don't even like the immersive audio feature. It kind of sounds like you're in a movie theater. It's great for listening to people talking but not music. It just mutes out some of the sound I want to hear and it doesn't sound even in both my ears when I move around. These $300 earbuds don't have enough bass and the volume doesn't get loud enough. Everyone has their own sound preference and you might like these earbuds, but I've heard better.
